Established in 1992, for 18 years the Bancroft & Area Studio Tour has been showcasing the Exceptional art and craft of our area artists.
Enjoy the rugged landscape and spectacular autumn colors while driving to visit the artists and artisans on our tour! 18 fascinating artists at 13 stops featuring pottery, bath products, ink pointillism, ornamental ironwork, jewelery, oil, acrylic, digital & water colour paintings, wood furniture, photography, stone sculpture, stained glass and leather goods. An excellent opportunity to meet the artists and view or purchase their exquisite creations!
Our homes and studios are open for you to visit September 25 & 25, 2010. & October 2 & 3, 2010.

Sarah’s style consists of tiny ink dots using various sizes of micron pens and graphite to create amazing works of art that must be seen to truly be appreciated. All pieces are black and white with the exception of coloured eyes.

STONE SCULPTURES & PAINTINGS
Andrew’s sculptures and paintings are a result of a combination of inspiration, creativity and life style. He finds inspiration in the Canadian wilderness and brings it to life in stone carvings and acrylic paintings.

Karen’s original stained glass designs are created from inspirations gathered from the North Hastings area and flow from her appreciation of the land. They reflect nature’s natural beauty, catching the light reflecting from sky, water, rock, tress and tell the story of the rugged landscape. Since the early 1990’s, beautiful local scenes have inspired Donna to create colourful gems
in oil! She loves painting nature with realism & stunning colour. Painting from photos,

Ingrid creates unique art work in that local materials are used to depict mostly regional wildlife. Her Driftwood Art is designed using cedar roots harvested from LaVallee Lake. The stone art is painted on local quarry stone.
